Refunds and Returns Policy

Micron Packaging will gladly accept all returns on standard stock items, provided that the goods are not damaged and in the original packaging.

For non-standard (customized) items returned due to manufacturing defects or where stock has been damaged to our fault we are happy to refund you and replace your stock at the earliest convenience. This return must be done within 7 days of receiving stock

 COD Payments

We are not a merchant for credit card payments. Please arrange payments via EFT or cash upon delivery.

Please note that we require at least 50% deposit on customized items at time of receiving your order with the 50% balance in our account prior to delivery.

30 Days Accounts with Micron Packaging

Should you wish to open a 30 day account with us please let us know and we will send you a credit application. Please note that credit checks may take up to 5 days depending on which bank you are with.

Deliveries within Gauteng

Micron Packaging make daily deliveries in and around Gauteng. Orders are free of charge on orders of R 2500 and more, otherwise we charge R 250 per delivery. However if we are in your area that day we will not charge a delivery fee, and we usually make a plan. However if it is really urgent you are most welcome to collect from our warehouse in Strijdom Park. We aim to deliver all orders within 24 hours.

Deliveries outside Gauteng

Should you be based outside of Gauteng we are more than happy to supply products to you. However we will need to add in a courier fee depending where you are based and what you are ordering. These will be quoted individually each time.

Lead Times on non-standard (customised) items


Plain customised bags, tubing, lay flat, centrefold: ±12 Working Days

Printed customised bags: ± 22 Working Days from artwork approval

Shrink: ± 7 Working Days

Corrugated Cartons:

Plain customised boxes: ± 10 Working Days

Printed customised boxes: ±22 Working Days from artwork approval

Please note that board will not be ordered until artwork has been signed off. We also prefer when possible to have a sample box made up (without printing) for approval prior to placing your order.


Printed Tapes: ± 10 Working Days from artwork approval

 Please note that during peak seasons such as year end factory loading increases and this will increase your lead times. Please allow for ample time for your order to be fulfilled.

Industry Tolerances:

Plastics: ±10% on micron (thickness) and quality produced and ±5mm on size

Corrugated Boxes: ± 10% over / under-run
